The IT industry already has the country brand

In the framework of the International Congress of ICT, conference Andicom 2013, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, introduced the country brand 'TI' and the strategic vision for the Information Technology sector

With the presence of the ICT Minister, Diego Molano Vega, and the Brand Manager Colombia, Claudia Hoyos, was presented the Country Brand IT within the framework of conference Andicom 2013 in the city of Cartagena.

The Country Brand IT is looking for represent dynamically, innovative and competitive to the Colombian industry in the international arena. This brand is the joint effort of the Mintic, Country Brand, Proexport, FEDESOFT and the private sector to show the world the importance of the IT industry both in the colombian local and global market.

"The Brand seeks to give it a recognition to the companies thanks to their work, are making significant progress in this industry position as fundamental line of the Colombian economy" said Albeiro Cuesta, Director of the direction of strengthening it Industry at the same time, the Minister, Diego Molano Vega had held a dialog with the representatives of the more prominent companies producing software and invited them to lead the consolidation of the sector.

The international Congress of ICT conference Andicom joined for the first time in its agenda of academic and business to the sector of Information Technologies and software development.
