Objectives

1. Design, develop, promote and adopt policies, plans, programs, and projects in the sector of Information and Communication Technologies, in correspondence with the Constitution and the law, to contribute to the economic, social, and political development of the Nation and raise the wellbeing of all Colombians.
2. Promote the use and ownership of the Information Technologies and Communications between citizens, businesses, government, and other national bodies to support the social, economic, and political development of the Nation.
3. Promote the development and strengthening of the sector of Information and Communication Technologies, promote research and innovation, seeking its competitiveness and technological progress by the national and international environment.
4. Define the policy and exercise the management, planning, and management of the radio spectrum and the postal services and related, except for what expressly determined by law.
